International Stammering Awareness Day (ISAD) - Oct 22

Oct 22 is observed as International Stammering (Stuttering) awareness day in the world. We would like to take this opportunity to take active part this year and bring awareness with people who stammer as well as who do not stammer.

Pune SHG had a meeting today in which 7 PWS attended the meeting. We have decided to celebrate this day as something a festival for us. We as a group at Pune SHG will be planning to have an outdoor activity may be we will go to a village, give interview on radio, put article in news paper. People who are not in town, are planning to take the following activities:

• Dinesh, will be cutting a cake in his home town. He will also try to speak in his organization on Oct 21.
• Vishal, will gather with other PWS at his home and celebrate the ISAD.
• Pranjal, will announce on Facebook that he stammer via ISAD.

Amol, Akhil, Virendra, and other Pune PWS will take out door activities. Virendra will cut a cake at home, write on Facebook on ISAD.
